ADAM THOMAS REES

For 16  years polymer clay has been a part of my life. Each piece is a challenge, a unique attempt to capture what I am thinking or feeling about a certain animal at a certain moment in time. Of course, perception is subjective, and as my perceptions and moods change, so does the particular set of characteristics and personality traits that I portray in my animal sculptures.

I believe that it was the attribute of polymer clay that got my attention. I started a private research of how to make my thinkings become tangible. That's why I love to model with polymer clay, it allows me to shape what's on my mind.
